Money Means Everything in the Farming Industry

 ORGANICS=$$$$$$$$$$

         I came across an article that was about the extremely high prices of organic food, but as the article progressed it got into the details of why organic food is so expensive. as I read on I found out that organic food has to have more hands at a time meaning the farmers must deal with bugs, weeds, and other pests. farmers rely on nature to take its course so, a farmer rarely gets the kind of yield he wants. Simply because he does not put chemicals onto his plants so they grow weak and the plant wont be strong enough. Organic food costs so much more then conventional because it takes more time and work to grow crops and raise animals to be called organic. Organic farmers also struggle in money because not a lot of people convert to organic simply because they don't want to pay the money. I know in my last article i said organic food produces a better yield but as a read in this article it seems that is does not in fact it only produces half the number of yield that conventional farmers do. I am going to have to research that and get back to you. The point of the article however is that organic farming is a huge gamble, and if you lose that gamble you could be in debt for the rest of your life. That is why I believe if we put a law on farming that every farmer must grow and raise organic, all farmers will be equal in yields making the price go down and farmers influx of money grow.
